Biosketch: I am a postdoctoral researcher in gravitational wave astrophysics at the University of Maryland, currently visiting the Astrophysical Relativity group at the Max Planck Institut für Gravitationsphysik in Potsdam, Germany. I obtained my PhD in physics from Cornell University in 2008, working with Prof. E. Flanagan, and was a Sherman Fairchild postdoctoral fellow in the TAPIR group at Caltech from 2008-2011. My research interests include modeling sources of gravitational waves, studying the physics of neutron stars and black holes, dynamics in strong gravitational fields, and other topics in astrophysics and general relativity.

You can read more about my research projects on the research page here, a short general introduction and motivation can be found here.
